Site Reliability Engineer – Keep Axual Always On, Always Fast

From Rabobank and ASN Bank to Eneco, Stedin, PostNL, and the Norwegian Government, our Kafka-based platform enables enterprises to unlock the full potential of their data and respond instantly to customer needs.
We’re now looking for a Platform Engineer / Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to ensure our platform is always reliable, always scalable, and always evolving.

What You’ll Actually Do

 ✅ Ensure all platform and app metrics are collected, visualized, and accessible
✅ Detect and resolve issues before they become critical
✅ Analyze performance data to advise proactively on scaling and reliability of our kubernetes clusters and critical services
✅ Work closely with engineering teams to improve efficiency through automation and        infrastructure enhancements
✅ Act as a subject matter expert on real-time reliability, observability, and platform health

What You Bring

 🔹 Proven experience managing Kubernetes in production environments
🔹 Strong knowledge of Azure cloud (VMSS, Databases, Networking Entra ID, Entitlement Management, Cost Optimization & Administration)
🔹 Experience automating deployments with Terraform and ArgoCD
🔹 GitLab administration, pipeline and integration knowledge
🔹 Familiarity with Helm chart and Kubernetes packaging best practices
🔹 Passion for observability, you don’t guess, you know
🔹 Development skills in Python or Go
🔹 A security first mindset
🔹 Hands-on experience with tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and distributed logging setups
