Who are we?

We are Axual, an "event stream processing" scale-up with a mission. Our mission is to unleash the power of information within large organizations in real time. We enable them to respond instantly to the ever-changing needs of their customers. We provide them with real-time data solutions based on Apache Kafka, including the tools and services to easily and securely manage their business data streams. What you actually do:

  • Ensure that all the required metrics on the platform and related applications are gathered and easily accessible.
  • Identify problems well before they become serious and proactively advise on opportunities to improve.
  • As a subject matter expert, work in close collaboration with the development team and help improve their efficiency through infrastructure or automation improvements.

Job requirements

What you bring:

  • Thorough understanding of and extensive experience administering Kubernetes.
  • Experience with cloud providers, such as Azure, AWS.
  • Experience with deployment automation via Terraform.
  • Development experience is a big plus (Python, Go).
  • Experience writing and working with Helm charts is a plus.
  • Experience with monitoring, distributed logging and metrics, setting up, configuring and analyzing to spot problems; (Prometheus, Grafana.)
  • Really have that "monitor everything and anything" mentality, from an alerting as well as a metrics point of view.
