Axual is a fast-growing scale-up specializing in real-time event stream processing. Our mission is simple yet powerful: help large organizations unlock the full potential of their data and respond instantly to customer needs. We do this by providing secure, scalable, and high-performance data streaming solutions based on Apache Kafka.

Our clients include Rabobank, PostNL, the Norwegian Government, Stedin and Eneco. We’re looking for a talented Account Director to strengthen and expand these valuable relationships.

Your Role at Axual:

As Account Director Enterprise, you will:
✅ Own and grow a portfolio of existing enterprise customers across Europe.
✅ Develop deep relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
✅ Lead strategic sales efforts, focusing on consultative selling and long-term partnerships.
✅ Collaborate with marketing and demand generation to create a strong sales pipeline.
✅ Present and position Axual’s solutions to C-level, clients and technical teams.
✅ Close high-value deals, negotiate contracts, and secure renewals.
✅ Track and optimize sales performance using our CRM system and enterprise network.
✅ Stay ahead of industry trends to advise clients on best practices in event-driven architecture.

Who You Are:

 🔹 A sales-professional with 5+ years experience in enterprise SaaS or data-solutions sales.
🔹 Proven ability to manage and grow complex enterprise accounts.
🔹 Strong understanding of data streaming or event-driven architectures.
🔹 Skilled in consultative selling, strategic negotiation, and high-level presentations.
🔹 A self-starter with a hunter mentality—you love building relationships and closing deals.
🔹 Fluent in English and Dutch.
🔹 Willingness to travel across Europe to meet with clients.
🔹 Knowledge of Apache Kafka is a great addition.
